Kerry has been a avid sportsman and wildlife advocate his entire life. His love for fishing is rivaled by his passion for hunting. After graduating from U.S. Coast Guard Engineering School he spent 21 years helping people in need. Kerry has been in the Real Estate industry since 1988. He was awarded membership into the RE/MAX International Hall of Fame and was elected the President of the Emerald Coast Board of Realtors in 2003. Beginning with the purchase of one RE/MAX franchise, Kerry has grown his business to 5 offices and has managed over $8 billion in real estate sales. Kerry also is owner of Southern Resorts on the Emerald Coast. Tecomate Properties has given Kerry the opportunity to combine the two things he loves the most — recreational land and real estate. Kerry and his wife Lauren live in Niceville, Florida. Together they have 5 children and 5 grandchildren. Kerry is strongly committed to wildlife conservation and is a member of The Coastal Conservation Association, The Elk Foundation, QDMA, NRA, SCI, RLI, and Ducks Unlimited.

Lauren Veach - Director of Marketing

Lauren has been a Realtor® since 2002 and brings her extensive background in sales, marketing and public relations to the team at Tecomate Properties. Her career experience includes actively working in the political arena, serving as a corporate recruiter, and authoring several books and articles. She is also a talented songwriter, a singer and a national recording artist, as well as the host of Pointon Point,a web-talk show.She is the mother of five and a grandmother of five awesome grandchildren. A lover of the outdoor life style, her real passion is fishing.

Rans Thomas - Biologist & Wildlife Consultant

A Georgia native, Rans took his first job on a hunting plantation at age seventeen. After receiving his BS degree in Wildlife Science from University of Georgia, Rans developed a course of study entitled "Wildlife and Plantation Management" for a technical college. Today, Rans is an accomplished and published wildlife biologist and has provided wildlife evaluations and management recommendations for over 200,000 acres of private hunting land in 10 different states. He is a regular field host on "The Bucks of Tecomate" and "Management Minute." In 2009 Rans was named QDMA Biologist of the Year.

Brenda Barbee - Office Manager for Tecomate

With over five years experience with the real estate development industry and with internet operations, Brenda is an important member of the Tecomate Team. Living on the Gulf Coast, her family spent a great deal of time fishing and scuba diving, as well as traveling to the north end of the county to hunt. While raising their seven children, she and her husband took the family camping often, establishing a love for the outdoors in all of their children. Now with five married children and with nine grandchildren, they still camp together as a family taking an annual camping excursion to the mountains of North Carolina. She brings family values and experiences to the team and loves to help clients find the perfect tract of land for their families to enjoy.
